Japan Day 3 - Hakone & Isetan

This is entrance of Shinanoki Annex where we stayed.

This is the dining place where we had our meals.

Adult's breakfast

Kid's breakfast

Footpath beside the blocks.

Girls.. ready to jump?

Walking to the front desk to check-out.

After check-out, we went to the Venetian Glass Museum which is located opposite the hotel.

In the month of March, the museum was having some Venetian related events. Visitors can rent the costumes for an hour FOC where you could go around wearing & taking pictures.

Another workshop for the girls... and Mervyn. They are suppose to decorate/paint their own mask.

Some snacks before we continue walking around.

Just playing with the shutter speed.

We brought the kids to rent the Venetian costumes. We wanted to rent for ourselves too but the adult queue was too long.

Took the bus back to Hakone-yumoto station where we walked around & settled down for lunch.

A canal right behind the row of shops.

Forgotten why she cried.

Only managed to take a picture of DH's lunch. We were simply too hungry when ours arrived. It was 2pm when we had our lunch.

This is one of the "new" train.. super express romancecar... for our return trip.

At Isetan food mall. Each pack of strawberry cost ¥1050 = S$16. But it does look sweet. By time when we decided to buy & try, only 2 packs left. :(

This musk melon cost ¥31500!! Well, you can work out the converstion.

Everything here in general is very expensive. Each tiny pack of nuts cost ¥525.

¥105 each! And there was a long queue. Mervyn commented $1.60 for such a tiny piece, 吃不下.

Not sure what are these.. candy? But it does catches our attention.

Lip gloss candy?

Bought some food from the food mall & we headed back to the Mercure Ginza.

This is exactly the same room we stayed 2 days ago. As expected, Tokyo rooms are very small.
